White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting: What we know so far | BBC News


Donald Trump was a “likely” target of last night’s shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, according to the acting US attorney general.

US media has identify the suspect as Cole Tomas Allen, 31, from Torrance, California, with acting Attorney General Blanche saying the suspect is not cooperating with the authorities.

Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace is reviewing the state visit of King Charles and Queen Camilla, which was due to start on Monday, following the incident at the Washington Hilton hotel.
