‘We’re The Real Protectors Of Jews’: Iran Hits Back At Europe In Explosive Anti-Semitism Row
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei has challenged European accusations of anti-Semitism, claiming that anti-Semitism is a European phenomenon and has no connection to Iranian culture.
In a pointed statement, Baghaei highlighted the presence of around 100 synagogues across Iran and questioned whether Jewish religious sites had faced attacks during the ongoing war. He also accused Israel of falsely claiming to represent Jewish people, drawing a distinction between the Israeli government and Jewish communities.
