Welcome to the world championship of dog surfing

Each year, talented dogs and their adoring fans gather on a California beach for the World Dog Surfing Championships.

“I’m really surprised at how well they’re doing,” said spectator Allan Liu. “They have merch, they have all this support system. Everyone’s cheering and the energy is great here.”
