‘We changed our position’: Anthony Albanese grilled over Labor’s broken promises in budget

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese claims the government “changed its position” on tax reform amid criticism over the budget.

“We changed our position, and we’re up front about that, and we’re up front about why,” he told Sky News Australia.

“We’re not prepared to sit back and say that we’re going to watch the Australian dream of home ownership drift into a part of history.

“We want this and future generations to have access to, aspire to owning their own home.”
