‘Wasn’t there for us’: Trump blasts NATO over lack of support in Iran war
US President Donald Trump has heavily criticised NATO, stating the alliance “wasn’t there for us” regarding support for the US-led war against Iran.
“We were there on Ukraine, and it [Russia-Ukraine war] would have never happened if I were president,” Mr Trump said.
“They’ve got themselves a problem.”
