Vusumuzi ‘Cat’ Matlala and co-accused trial-within-a-trial back in court | 14 September 2026
The attempted murder trial of Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala and four others, his wife Tsakani, Musa Kekana, Tiego Floyd Mabusela and Zandile Nthabiseng Nzama, is expected to resume this morning at the High Court in Johannesburg.
The main trial has paused to allow for a trial within a trial where alleged hitman in the matter – Musa Kekana – is fighting to have evidence obtained during his arrest thrown out of court.
