Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Hits 180 kmph in Safety Trials 🚄🇮🇳 | Kavach 4.0 & Stability Tests Passed


India’s Vande Bharat Sleeper train has successfully clocked 180 kmph during safety trials on the Kota–Nagda section in Rajasthan. The 16-coach prototype, developed by BEML and Integral Coach Factory (ICF), cleared key tests including braking, oscillation control, and Kavach 4.0 safety systems.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared visuals of water glasses remaining steady inside the coach — highlighting the train’s exceptional stability at high speeds, making it ideal for future overnight routes like Delhi–Patna and Mumbai–Goa.

This milestone marks a major step toward faster, safer, and more comfortable long-distance travel in India.
