US naval blockade on Iran has ‘gone global’: Pete Hegseth
US War Secretary Pete Hegseth says the blockade of Iranian ports is expanding, describing it as a “global” effort to intercept ships that may be carrying Iranian oil.
Mr Hegseth also criticised Europe for failing to make a “serious effort” to help end the conflict.
The US Treasury Department has imposed additional sanctions targeting Iran’s cryptocurrency links, intensifying pressure on the Iranian regime’s economy.
