US launches retaliatory strikes on Iran after two American troops killed in Jordan
The US says it has launched fresh strikes against Iran.
That’s in retaliation for an attack that killed two American military personnel in Jordan.
The US Central Command states the strikes aim to “further degrade” Iran’s military capabilities and “punish” the IRGC for attacking US troops in Jordan.
