US Iran war deal rejected: Trump “not satisfied” with proposal
President Donald Trump has said the deal proposed by Iran through Pakistan mediators has “not satisfied” him and it will be rejected by the US. While Trump did not reveal specifics of the Iranian proposal, reports indicate that it called for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for an end to the US blockade; however, it would postpone talks on Iran’s nuclear program, which would not be acceptable to the US, considering President Trump has said Iran should NEVER have a nuclear weapon.
