UK’s new prime minister delivers first speech without a lectern
The UK’s seventh prime minister in 10 years, Andy Burnham, has given his first speech outside Number 10, without the traditional lectern. Burnham said it’s time for politicians to “raise our game” and “rise to the new challenge” of government.
