Ukraine’s drone hunters strike again | Military Mind
Russian forces are increasingly using FPV drones in “standby” mode, hiding them on rooftops and near roads to ambush Ukrainian military vehicles as they pass.
The tactic is designed to allow Russian drone operators to strike without warning and disrupt Ukrainian logistics close to the front line. But these hidden threats do not always remain so for long. Operators from Ukraine’s FATUM Unmanned Systems Battalion recently carried out a counter-drone patrol, locating and destroying Russian FPV drones before they could be activated against Ukrainian forces.
