Ukraine launches over 500 drones at Russia, killing at least four | Morning Report
At least four people have been killed in a Ukrainian drone attack in the Moscow region and 12 more were injured in other drone strikes, authorities said on Sunday, as Russia tries to fend off massive aerial attacks.
Russia is making new moves in the Moldovan breakaway region of Transnistria, according to Ukraine’s President,Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The Ukrainian Head of state said Moscow has recently simplified procedures regarding obtaining Russian citizenship for Transnistria residents.
There’s political change in the Baltics. Latvia’s President Edgars Rinkēvičs has asked opposition lawmaker Andris Kulbergs to form a new government on Saturday. This comes after the prime minister Evika Silina resigned on Thursday and the ruling coalition collapsed ahead of elections in October.
