Ukraine captures Russian position with robot ground force
This past week, Russia hammered some civilian areas in Ukraine with hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles. According to local reports, the attack lasted for hours from daytime into the night, killing at least 16 people and injuring more than 80 others. This comes as Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy have yet to find an end to the ongoing conflict. LiveNOW’s Austin Westfall is speaking with retired Marine Corps intelligence officer Hal Kempfer, as President Zelenskyy announced Monday that Ukraine had captured a Russian position using an entirely robot ground force.
“For the first time in the history of this war, Ukrainian warriors captured an enemy position using exclusively unmanned platforms,” Zelenskyy said during a speech. “The future is here, on the battlefield, and Ukraine is creating it,” he said in a video posted to social media by a Ukrainian journalist.
