Tyler Robinson: Defense argues court cameras violate right to fair trial

Tyler Robinson, the man accused of killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk last year, appeared Friday in a Utah courtroom as his defense team pushes to ban cameras from his case.

Robinson’s lawyers called Bryan Edelman, a social psychologist, for pretrial testimony. On the subject of cameras in court, Edelman said, “I think it creates pressure on everybody to have cameras in here, from the jury to everyone involved.”

Robinson has not yet entered a plea and a trial date has not been set.
