Two Dozen Alleged Mexican Mafia Members Nabbed in Federal Crackdown


Federal authorities said they arrested nearly two dozen members and associates of the Mexican Mafia during a coordinated crackdown across Southern California, with most search and arrest warrants executed in Orange County. Officials from the U.S. Attorney’s Office said a total of 43 people could face charges including murder, kidnapping, drug trafficking, and running an illegal gambling operation. The operation involved multiple agencies, including the FBI, IRS, and local police departments in Anaheim and Santa Ana.
