Train services at Lam Tin station gradually resumed on Wednesday morning, about an hour after smoke from platform equipment forced the station to close. It was the second service disruption on the Kwun Tong line within 15 hours. A trackside fire near Lam Tin station on Tuesday night halted evening rush hour train services between Kwun Tong and Tiu Keng Leng.
