Trump Unleashes Scathing Attack on ‘Sick and Very Dishonest’ Ilhan Omar
President Trump said on Tuesday that Rep. Ilhan Omar could be jailed for lying about her age and described her home country of Somalia as a real “s–t house.” “She’s a sick, very dishonest person, who hates our country, and she comes from a country that is essentially not even a country, Somalia,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. “It’s a real s–t house.” Omar’s staff helped get her birthdate changed — it was moved up by one year — in public records once the Minnesota Democrat was elected to Congress in 2018, a switch that led to accusations that she misrepresented her age to secure US citizenship.
