Trump signs executive orders to crack down on birth tourism

United States Studies Centre Honorary Associate Dr Harry Melkonian responds to US President Donald Trump’s crackdown on birth tourism with new executive orders.

“Executive orders are going to be challenged; he can’t override the Supreme Court,” Dr Melkonian told News24.

“One of them is giving the right to consular officers to exclude people who look like they’re going to have a baby in the United States.

“That has nothing to do with illegals because illegals don’t come in on a visa.”
