Trump says Israel, Lebanon have agreed to 10-day ceasefire
A 10-day ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel took effect on Thursday (April 16), raising hopes the conflict may be nearing an end.
US President Donald Trump said he held excellent conversations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, and US officials have been tasked with working with both sides to reach a longer-term deal.
