Trump Joking Tells Melania They Won’t Beat His Parents’ 63-Year Marriage
President Trump jokingly told first lady Melania Trump Tuesday that they won’t be married as long as his parents.
“They were married for 63 years. And excuse me, if you don’t mind, that’s a record we won’t be able to match,” Trump said, turning to his wife to add: “I’m sorry it’s not going to work out that way. We’ll do well, but we’re not going to do that well, 63 years.” Trump, 79, married the first lady in 2005.
