Trump hits back at Iran with brutal compensation demand for victims of regime’s attacks
US President Donald Trump has turned Iran’s demand for war reparations back on Tehran.
He is now demanding compensation for Americans killed and wounded by Iranian-backed attacks.
Trump posted to Truth Social, urging Iran to pay the families of US troops killed by roadside bombs and other attacks.
He also pointed to the USS Cole bombing and demanded compensation for the families of sailors killed or wounded in the attack.
Trump broadened his demands further, calling for compensation for Iranians allegedly killed by their own regime.
The president said his demands would now become a firm part of Washington’s negotiating position.
