Trump golf course security scare as armed man arrested days before president’s visit
A California man was arrested at Trump National Golf Club after allegedly monitoring security operations days before Trump’s scheduled visit.
Authorities say agents spotted Jeanine John Taele photographing the grounds before deputies allegedly found ammunition during a pat-down.
A search of his vehicle uncovered a loaded handgun, while investigators later seized an illegally modified rifle, body armour and ammunition.
The disturbing discovery prompted a joint FBI terrorism task force investigation.
Taele has pleaded not guilty to multiple weapons charges and was barred from the golf club.
