Trump faces two years of political gridlock if Democrats seize Congress

Commentator and Royal Expert Hilary Fordwich predicts legislative stalemate if Democrats gain control of both chambers of Congress.

“The absolute definite is that President Trump would be a lamed-up president,” Ms Fordwich told News24 host Samara Gill.

“But the other definite is that he has the veto power and he would basically veto any legislation, any kind of rollback of policy that Democrats would have.”

“So basically, we would have two years in America of stalled anything.”
