‘True heroism.’ Bend parent and teacher ‘undoubtedly saved people’ during Oregon school shooting
A Sinclair Elementary School parent and teacher were credited with “heroism” after their quick thinking “undoubtedly saved people,” during a shooting at the school in Bend, Oregon on Thursday, police chief Mike Krantz said.
Speaking at a press conference Friday, Krantz said the parent followed the shooter inside to the class and that a teacher through their phone at the suspect and tackled them. The names of the two were not released.
