Tribute to struggle stalwart Don Nkadimeng
Seasoned politician and member of the Azanian People Organisation, Advocate Mojanku Gumbi, says former Azapo Limpopo chairperson, Don Nkadimeng strongly advocated for reparations and compensation for Africans for the suffering caused by slavery and colonialism. She was delivering Nkadimeng’s memorial lecture at his home in Mankweng, near Polokwane in Limpopo. “Bra Don” as he was widely known, was a founding member of AZAPO in April 1978. He was also the first provincial chairperson of AZAPO in Limpopo. Nkadimeng died last year at the age of 77.
