Tourism sector sees robust recovery post Covid

South Africa’s tourism sector has bounced back from the COVID-19 pandemic, with more than ten-and-a-half million tourists visiting the country in 2025.

According to Stats SA’s recently released international tourism report, the sector has surpassed pre-pandemic levels for the first time.

However, this is not an indicator of future growth.
