TikTok fake videos condemned by police officials
Police in the Northern Cape have condemned the unauthorised use of photos of police officials for Tik Tok content. This after two fake videos created using Artificial Intelligence were generated and circulated on social media involving the photo of Namakwa District Commissioner, Brigadier Schalk Andrews. In the videos, Andrews is seen taking a statement after a man reports that his job has been stolen by a Zimbabwean followed by laugher from an audience.
