‘They laughed and mocked’: Bernardi reveals he tried to warn the Liberal Party

One Nation SA Leader Cory Bernardi claimed he had previously warned the Liberal Party of the consequences of vacating principal ground.

“It was a great result for the party,” Mr Bernardi told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“It’s caused a lot of soul searching for the Liberal Party, and where do they go?

“I tried ten years ago to warn them that they were vacating any principal ground, and they laughed, and they mocked.”
