The New Fake Ukraine War Victory Claim That Even Putin & the Kremlin Can’t Defend
Vladimir Putin’s top general has been caught telling porkies, yet again, about Russia’s victories on the frontline in Ukraine.
Even fellow compatriots were puzzled after Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff, claimed full control over the entire Luhansk region, which Ukrainian officials have labelled a “lie.”
His repeated “fictitious” allegations have even earned him a comparison to “Comical Ali” – Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, an ex-Iraqi information minister who gained cult status for the outrageous lies he told during briefings to journalists.
Wheeled out by the Kremlin, Gerasimov appeared in a press conference on Tuesday, claiming that Russian forces “liberated” around 440 square miles of territory since March.
