Texas primary runoffs: Al Green defeated by Christian Menefee in redrawn district
We are now learning that Texas Democratic Congressman Al Green has lost his bid for renomination in the primary runoff for the state’s redrawn 18th Congressional District. After more than 20 years in the House, Green was defeated by fellow Representative Christian Menefee, marking the end of Green’s career in Congress.
