Terrifying strike on Kyiv: No ballistic missiles intercepted | Ukraine Brief
A Russian missile and drone attack on Kyiv and the surrounding region killed at least 17 people and wounded at least 44 more, with none of the 24 ballistic missiles launched being intercepted by air defense.
President Zelenskyy called for stronger air defenses and tighter sanctions on Russia’s missile production.
Ukraine continued its drone campaign against Russian targets, striking a Wildberries warehouse in the Tula region.
Ukrainian intelligence reports that Russia is deploying a North Korean unit armed with dozens of ballistic missiles near the Ukrainian border, further deepening military cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang.
