Tensions high at CPUT

Tensions are running high at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) following days of student protests and disruptions.

CPUT management has ordered students to vacate university residences within 24 hours, by Wednesday, citing safety concerns.

But student leaders say they will not comply with the directive.
