Families of Gaza hostages and protesters across Israel poured into the streets Saturday night after Tuesday’s Israeli strike in Doha, which relatives say set back vital hostage-release and ceasefire talks. At Hostages Square in Tel Aviv, aunt Maccabit Meyer denounced the government and asked, “Where the hell is the shame?” — accusing officials of downplaying the “premeditated, intentional, cold-blooded” destruction of the negotiation window. Relatives voiced raw grief and fury: mothers and fathers urged leaders to explain why the strike targeted Hamas’s political delegation while deal-making was underway. Einav Zangauker, mother of captive Matan Zangauker, said the strike “gambled with the hostages’ lives” and destroyed families’ hope for their loved ones’ safe return.
