Tang Jie-Ee Wei survive scare to reach M’sia Masters quarter-finals
Mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei were pushed to the brink before overcoming Indonesia’s Amri Syahnawi-Nita Marwah in the second round of the Malaysia Masters on Thursday (May 21).
In the match at the Unifi Arena in Bukit Jalil, Tang Jie-Ee Wei, who are seeded second, lived dangerously before prevailing with a 21-19, 22-20 win over Amri-Nita to reach the quarter-finals.
