Suitcase body turns out to be lifelike doll | 7NEWS
A murder investigation in New South Wales’ Southern Tablelands was called off after forensic testing revealed what appeared to be a woman’s body in a suitcase was actually a lifelike sex doll. The doll, discovered by two men near Oallen south of Goulburn, featured realistic details including hair, a nose piercing, and markings resembling bruises and grazes that fooled both members of the public and police. It took investigators 20 hours to determine the remains were not human, with the Homicide Squad no longer involved in the case.
