Streaming landscape shifts as Paramount acquires Warner Bros.
We are learning more this weekend after one of the biggest media mergers in entertainment history. This comes after a new deal saw Paramount acquire Warner Bros. The deal, announced Tuesday, merges two of the entertainment industry’s largest companies in film and TV. The companies completed the deal, ushering in a new Hollywood giant with the now shorter “Skydance” nametag. According to our partners at Fox 11 Los Angeles, all of them will come under the helm of billionaire David Ellison, and his new co-CEO Ynon Kreiz.
