State reveals origin of house fire that killed hockey journalist Jessi Pierce and her children
State fire investigators determined that beloved Twin Cities hockey journalist Jessi Pierce and her three children had barely a minute to awaken, realize their White Bear Lake home was ablaze and find a way to get out alive. The state’s fire marshal said Thursday that was not enough time.
State Fire Marshal Dan Krier disclosed during a news conference that the fire was accidental in nature and originated with various electrical cords that brought power into a home office.
