This Thursday marks the fourth anniversary of Seoul’s Halloween crowd crush, a tragedy in which rescue efforts were reportedly delayed because party-goers wearing police uniforms caused confusion. The disaster, which left more than 150 people dead, prompted South Korean police to launch a nationwide crackdown on imitation police uniforms and equipment sold online and in local costume shops.
