Some relief at the pumps for motorists | 01 July 2026
The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources has announced that fuel prices have dropped, on the back of lower global oil prices and a stronger rand againt the US dollar.
The department’s Robert Maake says the decreases come as the short-term fuel levy relief measures introduced by government in April are expected to be fully phased out from today, 01 July 2026.
