Shots Fired in Philippine Senate Building as Official Vows to Find Suspects


Senator Ronald dela Rosa was placed under Senate protection after reports emerged that the ICC issued an arrest warrant tied to Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs. The former police chief, accused of helping oversee thousands of killings, could soon join Duterte in facing crimes. After Senator dela Rosa was taken to a different part of the senate building, a volley of gunshots were heard. Philippine Interior Minister Jonvic Remulla vowed to find the perpetrators behind the gunshots fired in the Senate building.
