A Royal Commission investigating the Bondi terror attack has revealed that counter-terrorism checks were not conducted prior to the Hanukkah-by-the-Sea event on December 14, where 15 lives were claimed. New South Wales police acknowledged the checks should have been performed given heightened anti-Semitism in the community, while reports indicate police received tip-offs about one of the shooters as early as 2007.
