Seconds from #disaster in #Poznań
A video widely circulating online shows the moment of horror as a tanker truck gets stuck at a railroad crossing in Poznań, Poland.
A 31-year-old man drove onto a railroad crossing without enough space in front of him to safely make the crossing. He then drove off the tracks at the last moment, narrowly avoiding a collision with an oncoming train.
A few hours later, the driver turned himself in at a police station and admitted his guilt. ”He’s facing arrest, potential prison time, and a fine up to €6,800,” said Commissioner Łukasz Paterski from the Poznań Police, speaking to online news outlet epoznań.pl
