Scrap metal scare: Damaged semi-truck causes power outage in California
Traffic was shut down in a San Jose, CA neighborhood after a scrap metal truck with a damaged axle was at risk of rolling over, according to fire officials.
The semi-truck, carrying 78,000 pounds of metal, did not fall over, but thousands were left without power when PG&E proactively cut power to the pole the truck nearly hit.
