SANEF welcomes Sefara’s decision to step aside: Sbu Ngalwa
The South African National Editors’ Forum- (SANEF) has welcomed the decision of its chairperson, MakhuduSefara, to step aside pending an investigation into allegations of lottery funds misappropriation.
This follows the Special Investigating Unit’s revelation that a company linked to Sefara had improperly benefited from stolen lottery funds intended for community development.
Sefara has denied any wrongdoing.
The forum has appointed Deputy Chair Tshamano Makhadi as acting chairperson.
