Russian missile kills family in Ukraine as another hits Poland | Ukraine Brief
At least nine people, including three children, were killed and more than 50 others wounded after Russia launched a large-scale overnight missile and drone attack across Ukraine.
Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia fired 74 missiles along with 284 Shahed-type drones, with a deadly strike on the outskirts of Kryvyi Rih, where an Iskander-M missile struck the private house of a multichild family, killing six people, including both parents and three children.
According to Polish military experts, an object that crashed in eastern Poland, leaving a 10-metre-wide crater, appears to have been a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said the incident was not believed to be a deliberate attack on Poland but described it as a serious security incident.
