Russia Releases Imprisoned American Stephen Hubbard After Trump Plea
On Wednesday, American Tomas Hubbard was released from captivity after spending four years as hostage in Russia.
A day before his release, Trump alluded to his upcoming release saying he had been “focused on Hubbard.”
Hubbard, a US Air Force and National Guard veteran, was living in eastern Ukraine with a Ukrainian partner when Russia launched it’s full-scale invasion of the country in February 2022.
