Another day, another grim update from Ukraine: seventeen people have been killed and over 40 wounded following a massive Russian aerial assault on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, and its surrounding area. This is yet another brazen assault by Moscow as Ukraine is stuck in conversation with the U.S. about support for its air defense system.
– RUSSIA DISRUPTS UKRAINE’S GRAIN EXPORTS
Even though Ukraine is imposing a successful campaign of long-range sanctions on Russia, the country is once again feeling the squeeze when it comes to its exports and position in the Black Sea. Russia continues escalating its attacks on Odesa, with Ukraine’s critical export, grain, now in danger leading to Ukraine to look towards its neighbors, including Poland, for help with grain exports, as announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
– DANGEROUS INCIDENTS NEAR LEIPZIG AIRPORT
A cargo plane collided with an unidentified object near the Leipzig airport in Germany overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, according to the German newspaper “Bild.”
