Russia honours North Koreans who fought in Ukraine

Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov travelled to Pyongyang on April 26, 2026, for a memorial to North Korean soldiers who fought with Moscow’s forces against Ukraine. North Koreans who died in battle were among those honoured. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and a Russian delegation joined the opening of the memorial and museum dedicated to the North Korean troops who fought in the Kursk region.
