‘Rule by bloody murder’: Iran carries out highest ever number of executions

Journalist Eve Barlow says the “tyrannical” Iranian regime has carried out more executions in the last year than “ever”.

“This is what the regime does when it feels the squeeze. This is the pattern of behaviour they have engaged in for the last 47 years,” Ms Barlow told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.

“They are showing how cruel they are, how lacking in meaning life is to them; they’re a death cult.

“They rule by bloody murder.”
